You know we love homes and properties on and near the water and we were lucky enough to take a look at one of the most famous rivers in the world up close, the Danube in Budapest, Hungary.
Budapest is an incredible city that is made up of Buda, Obuda and Pest which joined to create the city we know and love now. The city is split by the River Danube which is the second largest river in Europe behind the Volga River in Russia.
Starting in Germany it runs its 1780 mile course through Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine but is most famous for flowing through Hungary’s capital Budapest.
We got to make use of the Fraser Residence Facilities and Hospitality at their Budapest serviced apartments. The state of the art, fully furnished apartments in the heart of Budapest offer everything we could have asked for including access to a fitness centre, dining and business services.
We found Budapest really easy to get around thanks to the great transport network including buses, trams and rail and no trip would be complete without a riverboat trip along the Danube.
